EHGroup Pods

Elliotts Hill Care commissioned Oochitecture to design a series of respite pods on a rural site adjacent to their existing care home on the outskirts of Haverfordwest. The aim was to create a welcoming space where residents or visiting individuals could stay with their carers for short-term respite or holiday breaks. A self-contained, two-bedroom pod was developed, offering privacy, accessibility, and comfort within a landscaped setting. The design balances domestic warmth with practical care requirements, ensuring a supportive environment for both guests and carers.

The project provides a much-needed respite and holiday accommodation option for care users and their families, enhancing the overall support offering of the Elliotts Hill Care.
